314 Action Congratulates Joseph Kopser on His Victory in Texas

(Washington, D.C.) -- 314 Action, the nation’s only resource specifically created for scientists and STEM professionals running for office, congratulated aerospace engineer and veteran Joseph Kopser on his victory in the Democratic primary runoff election for Texas’ 21st Congressional District. 314 Action endorsed Joseph for Congress last year.
Shaughnessy Naughton, President of 314 Action, released the following statement:
"Joseph Kopser's win in Texas is a sign that voters in the Lone Star State are ready to reject Lamar Smith's reign of ignorance and send a pro-science Democrat and engineer to Congress. The best way to fight the attacks on science in Washington is to elect leaders with STEM backgrounds like Joseph, who will stand up for facts and evidence instead of partisan politics. 314 Action is thrilled to support Joseph as he moves on to the general election."
314 Action is the only resource specifically created for scientists and STEM professionals seeking assistance running for office. 314 Action was founded by members of the STEM community, grassroots supporters and political activists.
