314 Action Fund Bundles Nearly $3.6 Million To Dr. Annie Andrews As Senate Republicans Splash Cash in South Carolina

First reported by Axios, 314 Action Fund has bundled nearly $3.6 million in grassroots donations directly to Dr. Annie Andrews’ Senate campaign, making it the largest outside group backing her bid. Senate Republicans are playing catch up with the Senate Leadership Fund preparing to spend $5 million in South Carolina to prop up Sen. Darline Graham in the final weeks. In response, 314 Action Executive Director Erik Polyak released the following statement:

“Senate Republicans are a day late and a dollar short. They thought South Carolina was safe but Dr. Annie Andrews has outraised and outworked her opponent. Now, they’re clawing back cash from tossup races to throw $5 million at a senator who was handed her seat on a silver platter, has never faced voters in a general election and is woefully unprepared to be a Senator. Graham’s top qualification is loyalty to Trump—but it won’t be enough.”

“314 Action Fund is the largest outside group supporting Dr. Annnie Andrews and has bundled nearly $3.6 million directly from grassroots donors to boost Andrews and combat the late splash of cash from SLF. Annie Andrews is going to be the first Democratic woman doctor ever elected to the Senate, and no amount of Republican money is going to stop her.” doctors running this cycle

314 Action Fund endorsed Andrews as a Guardians of Public Health, a $25 million recruitment campaign to elect 100 new doctors, nurses and healthcare leaders to states and Congress by 2030. Dr. Annie Andrews consistently ranks as a top fundraiser for 314 Action donors and we expect to match or exceed the $5 million investment from Senate Republicans by Election Day.
