Today 314 Action Fund, the nation’s only organization dedicated to recruiting, training and electing doctors and scientists, endorsed Chris Jones for Arkansas’s 2nd Congressional District.

Chris Jones is a nuclear engineer, minister, and community leader from Pine Bluff, Arkansas, with five degrees, including a PhD from MIT. As executive director of the Arkansas Regional Innovation Hub, he helped launch a statewide effort to manufacture personal protective equipment during the COVID-19 pandemic. He also served on the Arkansas Economic Development Commission’s Division of Science and Technology board. In 2022, he became the first African American nominated for Governor of Arkansas and now, he’s running for Congress and making the race for AR-02 competitive.
