In a Truth Social post on Monday night, Donald Trump weighed in on the U.S. Senate race in South Carolina as polls tighten between pediatrician and mom, Dr. Annie Andrews and heir-apparent Darline Graham. In response, 314 Action Executive Director Erik Polyak released the following statement:
“Donald Trump is back to his old tricks but this slur is deeply offensive, untrue and stoops to a new low. Trump is weighing in on this race because Darline can’t win on her own. Our perverted, pedophile President has resorted to name-calling and juvenile insults because his candidate can’t win on the issues. Four polls show this is the closest Senate race in South Carolina history and it’s got MAGA Republicans nervous.
