All Nine 314 Action Candidates In Competitive House Seats Now Officially Named To DCCC Red To Blue

Doctors, scientists, and STEM leaders make up some of the most closely watched races on the battlefield

Every one of 314 Action’s nine endorsed candidates running in competitive House districts are now officially part of the DCCC’s Red to Blue program, the Committee announced this week—confirming that STEM leaders are central to winning back the Democratic majority in Congress.

“314 Action’s endorsed STEM leaders are leading the charge to flip the House,” said Erik Polyak, 314 Action Executive Director. “Voters aren’t looking for more lip service from career politicians. They are looking for doctors and scientists who’ve spent their careers solving problems, not manufacturing them. As Trump and RFK Jr. gut healthcare, hike premiums, and let preventable diseases come roaring back, 314 Action’s slate offers voters a clear alternative: leaders who’ve spent their careers in the ER, the classroom, and the cockpit, not the green room.”

The following 314 Action endorsed candidates named in DCCC’s Red to Blue program include:

  • Jamie Ager, NC-11
  • Rebecca Bennett, NJ-07
  • Christina Bohannan, IA-01
  • Bale Dalton, FL-07
  • Jake Johnson, MN-01
  • Elaine Luria, VA-02
  • Dr. Richard Pan, CA-06
  • Manny Rutinel, CO-08
  • Dr. Amish Shah, AZ-01

314 Action Fund is the nation’s only organization dedicated to recruiting, training, and electing doctors and scientists to office, working to elect 100 new doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals by 2030.
