(Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) — Today, 314 Action is proud to announce the launch of our 10th anniversary event series in partnership with COURIER Newsroom. This two-part digital event series will launch on March 12 ahead of Pi Day with a virtual event: “MAHA and the Midterms: How Trump and RFK Jr.’s Agenda Costs Americans.”
This first event will feature Dr. Mary Trump, Rep. Lauren Underwood (a registered nurse), Hank Green (author and science communicator) and Dr. Vin Gupta, in conversation with 314 Action President Shaughnessy Naughton. Speakers will discuss how rising health care costs and RFK Jr.’s anti-science MAHA policies will motivate voters in the midterms.
314 Action is partnering with COURIER Newsroom, a new media company with a rapidly growing online audience and local newsrooms. The event will be livestreamed across COURIER Newsroom’s national channels, reaching a total combined audience of nearly 9 million. By working with new media partners, 314 Action aims to bring its pro-science message to news-avoidant Americans and drive the national conversation on science and health care during the midterms.
Founded in 2016, 314 Action has supported over 1,500 Democratic scientists and elected over 500+ STEM candidates to all levels of government over the past decade. In 2026, 314 Action is working with nearly 150 campaigns nationwide and has committed to raising $25 million to secure a path to victory. Register here.
