MEMO: Six STEM Candidates on Frontlines of Taking Back The House Following 314 Action Fund’s Historic Spending in Midterms

314 Action Fund is proud to announce historic spending in the midterms with more than $22 million invested in STEM candidates this cycle, the largest investment in the organization’s ten-year history. This milestone is made possible by 314 Action Fund’s record-breaking fundraising efforts from a growing network of pro-science donors this cycle. 314 Action Fund has endorsed over 500 STEM candidates who are well-positioned to win in November with the group’s support.

As the only organization working to recruit, train and elect Democratic scientists around the country, 314 Action Fund continues to expand its impact through strategic investment in competitive House and Senate races. Following $14.5 million spent in Democratic primaries––the largest primary investment by the group so far—the organization is playing a key role in taking back the House with historic spending reporting an additional $7.6 million spent in the general election.
