(Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) — Following reports of Palantir employees’ growing concerns in response to the company’s work with DHS and ICE, 314 Action today released a new digital ad, calling on employees to speak out against Palantir’s tactics.
On the heels of tech industry professionals calling on ICE to end their occupation of American cities and terrorizing of local communities, 314 Action is urging Palantir employees to stand up and speak out against the company’s role in enabling ICE’s violent and brutal behavior.
“ICE is murdering Americans in the streets, using technology developed by Palantir to do it,” said Shaughnessy Naughton, President of 314 Action. “We’re urging Palantir employees to use their voice and speak up against enabling ICE’s terror. If our government won’t hold these federal agents accountable, it’s up to all of us to take action. Americans can’t remain silent any longer.”
As Congress faces a looming deadline to fund ICE by February 13, 314 Action is asking Palantir employees to use their voice and sign this petition.
The ad will target employees around five Palantir U.S. offices: Denver, CO; Palo Alto, CA; Seattle, WA; New York, NY; and Washington, DC. The geofencing will also include an audience filter to ensure employees see the ads—even after they leave the geotargeted area.
