He has built a successful medical practice in the Princeton area while volunteering in overwhelmed hospitals, war zones, and disaster areas at home and abroad. Current incumbent Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman brought Dr. Hamawy to the 2025 State of the Union as her guest, as the joint session focused on the Middle East. Now, Adam is running for the first time to end Forever Wars, ensure that every American can access quality affordable care, and to fight for a living wage where no American gets left behind.
