Ami was first elected to Congress in 2012 to represent California’s ninth district in one of the cycle’s hardest fought races, and his seat remains a target of national Republicans today. Ami serves on the House Science Committee.

As a first generation American, Ami attended California’s public schools from kindergarten through medical school. Ami worked part time and used scholarships to put himself through his education at the University of California, Irvine where he earned his B.S. in Biological Sciences and M.D.

After Proposition 50 passed, Ami made the decision to run in what is now a district that just barely will favor Democrats and could be the race that flips to decide House control! Donate today to be the reason Ami Bera flips CA-03 and let’s flip the House!
