Kristina is a Guardian of Public Health candidate, answering the call to serve as 314 Action aims to elect 100 new doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals by 2030, raising and spending over $25 million in the effort.
As a major in the 88th Air Base Wing at Wright-Patterson AFB, she led efforts to improve medical care and readiness for service members, later serving with the 445th Aeromedical Staging Squadron. In the Reserves, she became a Neuro-Oncology Nurse Practitioner at OSU Medical Center, caring for cancer patients while witnessing firsthand the strains on our healthcare system. As someone who experienced life-threatening pregnancy complications herself, Kristina knows the struggle that many Ohioans go through to access proper health care.
Kristina is running against an entrenched Republican incumbent who has served for two decades and who has accepted millions in corporate PAC contributions. Republicans hold one of the smallest House majorities in history, and this district is a key pick-up opportunity for Democrats in November.
