“This is RFK Jr.’s Legacy” — 314 Action Slams RFK Jr.’s House Committee Hearing

“RFK Jr. spent the entire hearing evading any and all responsibility for failing to keep Americans safe and healthy. When directly questioned about his tenure as HHS Secretary, RFK Jr. froze, ducked, and dodged. He couldn’t answer for his cuts to medical and scientific research, wouldn’t promise to follow the guidance of the CDC Director, and refused to take accountability for spreading dangerous vaccine misinformation."

NEW ADS: 314 Action Releases New Ads Linking RFK Jr. to Vulnerable House Republicans

“We're already living with the consequences of RFK Jr.'s reckless leadership,” said 314 Action Executive Director Erik Polyak. “On his watch, we've seen the worst measles outbreak in nearly 30 years. Children are getting sick from diseases the U.S. eliminated because RFK Jr. continues to undermine confidence in childhood vaccines, and billions of dollars in medical research have stalled. This new ad campaign is a warning to vulnerable House Republicans—standing with Trump and RFK Jr. is a losing strategy, especially among Independents and swing voters, and 314 Action will replace them with pro-science Democrats in November.”

“Democrats with backgrounds in STEM are uniquely qualified to really lead on a lot of the most important issues of the day, like health care,” 314 Action Executive Director Eric Polyak said. “They just have so much credibility.”

RECAP: 314 Action, Protect Our Care, Democratic Doctors’ Caucus Members, and Autism Advocates Slam RFK Jr.’s Public Health Failures

Erik Polyak, Executive Director, 314 Action:  “This isn't hypothetical. We're already living with the consequences of RFK Jr.'s leadership. On his watch, we've seen the worst measles outbreak in 25 years. Children are getting sick from diseases we've effectively eliminated because he spent years undermining confidence in childhood vaccines and now leads HHS medical research has stalled. Clinical trials into cancer and Alzheimer's have been halted. Life saving work has stopped, and when he gets in front of Congress today, he's going to lie about all of it.”

NEW ANALYSIS: Swing Voters Reject RFK Jr. as MAHA Support Weakens

As RFK Jr. takes his anti-science message across the country, voters overwhelmingly prefer candidates with backgrounds in science or medicine by a margin of nearly 6-to-1 over MAHA-aligned candidates. The new poll shows favorability for RFK Jr. and the MAHA agenda sharply declines among all likely voters, especially swing voters and Independents as they voters learn more about his dangerous “public health” record as Health and Human Services Secretary.

NEW POLL: RFK Jr. Drags Down GOP Candidates as MAHA Support Collapses

“RFK Jr. is a political liability, especially in swing districts. Voters want better public health outcomes, but when they learn about the administration’s health care cuts and RFK Jr.’s actions as HHS Secretary—support for him and candidates aligned with the MAHA agenda collapses,” said 314 Action Executive Director Erik Polyak.“This is a losing argument for Republicans in the midterms, and a clear opportunity for Democrats to focus on science, affordability, and real health care solutions. When voters are given a clear choice, candidates with a background in science beat MAHA-aligned candidates by nearly six to one.”

314 Action Spotlights the Momnibus Act Led by Rep. Lauren Underwood during Black Maternal Health Week

“It’s a complete failure of our health care system that Black women are still three times more likely to die from a pregnancy-related cause,” said Shaughnessy Naughton, President of 314 Action. “This disparity shouldn’t exist. That’s why Representative Lauren Underwood, a registered nurse, public health expert and National Co-Chair of our Guardians of Public Health initiative, led the charge in co-founding the bipartisan Black Maternal Health Caucus seven years ago.”

314 Action Celebrates Artemis II’s Successful Return to Earth

“Congratulations to the entire Artemis II crew and team—this mission illustrates what we accomplish when we invest in science, innovation, and our future,” said Shaughnessy Naughton, President of 314 Action. “This feat wouldn’t be possible without continued funding to our scientific programs and agencies. But, if Trump gets his way, he will leave a mutli-billion-dollar hole in research budgets, thousands of grants will remain frozen, progress will come to a screeching halt.”
